While all our girls have a breed history and most of them are showcats, Anniesong girls are also treasured pets. As such they are generally bred only once a year maximum and often there are longer periods between litters. This ensures they are in tip-top condition for the showbench and it is not uncommon for one of our mums to return to the showbench shortly after her kittens are weaned. This would not be possible if bred to frequently, as their bodies lose a lot of condition in lactation and need significant time to recover from the stresses of producing and raising a litter.
